it was a pleasure to photograph logan and sara, who came all the way from colorado to get married in hawai’i! the first afternoon when we met, we took a few photos at the temple and hit the beach for a gorgeous sunset … and to our luck early the next morning, we jumped into some of the clearest i’ve ever seen at this sandy beach off the kona coast. talk about meant to be.
Ashley & Matt literally ‘showed me the town’ as we went around SD for their save-the-date photosession. Engagement sessions are always fun, but this one was especially because it felt more like an “adventure” rather than a typical 1-location 1-hour sessions. I feel that by spending real time with people/”clients” and getting to know them through making their photosession an “experience,” always lends to making better photographs that better present who they are and the essence of the relationship they share.
Fun, (and bitterly windy) photosession with Jackie & Paul, down at NAC in Newport. We took pictures in and around the inlets, and were even invited over for some organic tequila shots by some residents of the area, who were hanging out in their backyard … a boat dock. And Nathan, of course, had to pull off something ridiculous.
